Gresë Sermaxhaj
Passionate about writing and gender equality, Gresë earned a certificate for Media Literacy and professional development from the U.S. Department of State for the successful completion of the Community College Initiative Program 2022/2023. During her studies at the College of DuPage (Illinois), she mainly focused on Public Relations, misinformation, and disinformation.
After finishing her Bachelor’s from the University of Prishtina, Kosovo, in the Department of Political Science, she started working in the media and civil society sector. She worked as Public Relations Coordinator for over three years at Kosovo Women’s Network (KWN), the country’s oldest women’s rights organization. She was engaged as a freelance writer for International Magazine Youth Time based in Prague, Czech Republic.
She has experience organizing outreach campaigns, drafting communication strategies, and writing feature and success stories. She started collaborating with the Goldin Institute in February 2023 as a Communication Associate.
